Course Description


Since 2001 I have traveled the world teaching physicians and other healthcare providers how to implement bio-identical hormone replacement into their practices. Now, all of that information is in this online course. This course is simple and encourages you to start implementing the information immediately.

There are no protocols to memorize. The course teaches you to properly measure hormones and return the levels to physiologic balance. The course uses the gynecologic endocrinology book to support the practice of bio-identical hormone replacement.

Eldred Taylor M.D.

Eldred B. Taylor, M.D., is a well-known, dynamic speaker on Functional and Integrative Medicine. He is a co-founder of and President of the American Functional Medicine Association. He is the co-author of two books, Are Your Hormone Making You Sick? and The Stress Connection. Dr. Taylor also served as a faculty member for the Fellowship in Anti-Aging, Regenerative & Functional Medicine where he taught basic and advanced hormone replacement to hundreds of fellows. He is an internationally known medical lecturer and leading expert on functional and integrative medicine with a special focus on diagnosing and treating hormonal imbalances. To date, Dr. Taylor has provided over 500 hours of continuing medical education on integrative, functional and anti-aging medicine.

AFMA's BHRT Certification course has been incredibly helpful for me. Dr. Taylor broke down hormone replacement to the basics and demonstrated how managing hormones needs to be individually tailored medicine. There are no set protocols when it comes to hormones. The course reviewed why patients react differently to hormones and how to "trouble shoot" when symptoms are not improving. Dr. Taylor also discussed the evidence behind the different methods of hormone testing which made me comfortable in knowing that I'd be doing the best thing for my patients.
